Just hours before my first paper today, and I was reading a book and stumble across these verses:-
1 John1:9 (Amp) If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
Psa51:1 (Amp) Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your steadfast love; according to the multitude of Your tender mercy and loving-kindness blot out my transgressions.
How beautiful & amazing is our God! That He is faithful in His love and abundance in His mercy! He will continuously embrace her if we come back to Him. I just love Him even more more more!!!
Just seeing his endless time & effort, sacrifice & love that has poured out on me... I really thank God every day for such a wonderful family, for the things that He has done to keep this family one! Pray that this family will experience more of His love!
1. Done with 2 interviews... Thought the group interview was better as the attention was divided to other 5 people. 3 more to go...
2. Am sitting in the library, looking out at the clear blue sky and wonder why I am sitting in the library studying...
3. Finally finished my Cadbury Old Gold Dark Chocolate bar!!! Too distracting and bad for my belly!
4. Attempting to finish Psychiatry this week... Hopefully I am sane after studying everything!

6. Still loving waiting on Jesus - allowing Him to teach and mould me... 1Cor15:33 "Bad company corrupts good character!" Who are the people around you? Is it life or destruction?
7. Chuen is coming tmrw!!!! Wohoo!!!! Something to look forward to!
Saw the weekly POINTCAST from my church back home, and came across them inviting people to come watch this movie called "Fireproof" It is about a marriage restoration, and in that journey, the guy gave His life to Jesus!
I am in awe at how amazingly God works through people's lives...
This quote caught my attention:-
"Don’t follow your heart, because your heart can be deceived. Lead your heart!"
It's 3.35am now, so will talk more about this movie next time :-)
Was reading this book, and this particular paragraph spoke to me.
“When you are trying to wait on God, the enemy will pound your mind continuously demanding that you “do something”. He wants to move you in fleshly zeal because he knows that the flesh profits nothing (John6:63)”
And this is totally opposite to what God says…
1Kings19 God told Elijah to go up and stand on the mountaintop (wait over there) and He revealed to Elijah in that still small voice
Isa40:31 Those who wait upon the Lord will rise on wings of eagles. The will not grow weary of be faint!
Psa5:3 …in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
Psa37:7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways…
Psa46:10 Be still, and know that I am God…
I am not suggesting, not revising or studying or preparing for interviews… but in the midst of all these, gotta make sure my heart is at peace; it is constantly waiting upon Him vs constantly at a go – trying to rationalize and take matters in my own hand and do something all the time. I am limited in what I do with my own strength, but with God the SUPER-natural and the EXTRA-ordinary will come!
Just felt compelled by God to blog again. Know haven’t been a good steward of my blog, but know that God wants me to put some of the thoughts and things He has spoken to me into words – so that whoever that come across this blog may read it and be encouraged!
This season is a great challenge – unlike what I had in mind (I told Ps M that this semester is a great semester where I have plenty of time to rest/relax/reflect/spend time with people). God has put a stop on those time laxity! And what Rick Warren said in his interview is depicts God’s heart.
“Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one. The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort. God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy. We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christ likeness.” (here for more)
God is interested in building us more than making us feel comfortable! So, I know, when I am comfortable – I better enjoy while I can, thank God for it, and be prepared what God is gonna do soon!
Psa90:14 Satisfy our morning with Your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Love how God says, as we start our day by inviting Him into our lives, and asking Him to fill us with His presence, the rest of our day & subsequent days to come – we will have joy & be glad!
I’m ready to step into this season with Him with me!
Started reading this book:- “The Next Generation Leader” by Andy Stanley. It is really awesome, as the books talk about 5 key points that the next generation leader should possess:-
Competence - Courage - Clarity - Coachability - Character
Am reading the first ‘C’ now – Competence. Here are some thoughts that captured my heart:
“The secrets of leadership – the less you do, the more you accomplish. The less you do, the more you ENABLE OTHERS to accomplish.”
“The real value to an organization lay within the context of your giftedness.”
“Be mission driven, rather than need driven.”
“You can’t aim for a target unless you have identified it.”
“A leader who is not leading from the right “zone” will create an unfavourable environment for other leaders.”
“Leaders attract other leaders…”
“Your weakness is someone’s opportunity.”
“Great leaders work through other leaders.”
“Leadership is about multiplying your efforts, which automatically multiplies your results.”

“…vision always seem unrealistic when they are first hatched.”
“… your organization reflects your strengths as well as the strengths of those around you.”
Mat5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God
This verse has been stucked in my heart for the entire week. It means, we will see God when we have a pure heart. I did ask myself, “But how to have a pure heart?”
Was doing my devotion this morning & came across this verse:
1Joh1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful & just & will forgive us our sins & purify us from all unrighteousness
.
As I present my sins before God, as I unload every bit of the flesh before the cross, this verse says God is faithful & just! He will continue & continue to forgive us & purify us. Not just pardoning my sins, but He will do a “clean-up process” deep within my heart & soul, removing every bit of standards that is not from Him – selfishness, laziness, negativity, wrong thoughts, discouragements, wrong intentions, gossips… everything!
I wanna see God move among the people in Urban Life, being their God of Breakthrough, going before every single one of them & lead them to new & higher ground of faith & belief! Deeper intimacy with Jesus!!!
I wanna see relationships being strengthen in UL, where each of us will go deeper & beyond the superficial friendships to people that encourage each other, pray for each other, support each other when one face challenges.
I wanna see barriers are being bridged! People who are distant from God will draw closer to His presence!
I wanna see healings & miracles take place. We live in a world where our mind overrides every possible supernatural thing that can take place. I wanna see a greater level of faith, knowing that nothing is too big for our BIG GOD!
I wanna see people that come to UL become people that BELIEVE, BECOME & BELONG!!!
I wanna see them loving God together & loving the people in their lives!
I wanna see salvation come to my family’s doorstep. I wanna see more breakthroughs in what God is doing now in my family’s hearts.
I wanna see God move in my relationship with Chuen, where we can will continue to love God together, serving Him as partners & continue to encourage each other to higher levels. We are trusting in His plans for us – plans to prosper us & give us hope for the future! Our future is secured in His hand!!!
